BACKGROUND

Chad Moses is a former Vice President, division and market CFO focused on financial Performance Improvement and System integration.  His experience includes external and internal advisory work within the Healthcare industry and even a small stent in private business.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

With over 20 years of healthcare operations and hospital administration experience, Chad provides healthcare operations and finance consulting services. Although finance is at the forefront, Chad’s passion stays focused on the patient experience and takes pride in being the atypical CFO.  Chad brings extensive experience in financial operations, decision support, business intelligence,  strategic planning, labor management, patient flow, and financial improvement work in not-for-profit health care, from rural providers to large academic medical centers and system–wide initiatives.

ENGAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

  • Oversaw multiple Labor management engagements across complex healthcare delivery systems with standardization and cost savings of $30M.

  • Lead several projects in Synergy and integration work of $120M during the formation of largest health system in South Carolina.

  • Lead system-wide initiative for rolling forecast  approach to financial planning and was  a developmental partner with several large software firms for rolling forecast, cost accounting, and business intelligence tools.

  • Reduced Average Inpatient Length of Stay by more than 6.5%, saving millions of dollars and creating bed capacity in a Large academic medical center.

  • Partnered with clinical staff to understand needs and designed customized productivity tool solution to include useful staffing grids and daily productivity monitoring.

  • Implemented several Productivity monitoring tools with vendor partners as well as internally developed tools.

  • Led initiative to move Not for profit rating from BBB+ to A- rating on Medicare dependent Payor mix. Operating margins between 3-6% with 250+ days cash on hand.
